Chris has been playingguitar and keys since he was 13 and began singing/ songwriting at the age of 14, having inherited the bug (and his first guitar) from his father, also a well-known and respected musician.

Chris has been in Walkway since their inception in 2008, founding the band with his brother
James (Lead guitar).

He has completed a Performing Musician's course via Access to Music in Norwich.

Chris' front-man influences include: Steve Perry (Journey),
Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) and Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin).

His real passion for rock music is evident through his vocal performances and songwriting.

Chris uses Sennheiser mics, Gibson and Jackson guitars and Vox amps.

Bass Guitar/ Backing Vocals.

Alex has been playing since the age of 12 and became interested in playing through the influence of his dad, who plays in a band with Chris and James' dad.

He cut his performing teeth in a school band and was recruited by Chris and James to play for Walkway at the earliest stage of the bands formation.

Alex has completed his first year on the Performing Musician's course at Access to Music in Norwich.

His musical influences include:
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Flea being his major bass influence),
Led Zeppelin,
The Who,
Jimi Hendrix and
Rage Against The Machine.

Alex uses Ibanez basses, Gallien Krueger heads and Ashdown Cabinets.

James is also a founder member of Walkway having started the band with brother Chris.

He has been playing the guitar since he was 10, and despite being the youngest member of the band, he has gained a reputation as one of the strongest guitarists on the local music scene.

He has also completed a Performing Musician's course at Access to Music in Norwich.

James' guitar influences include: Eddie Van Halen,
Joe Satriani,
Gutherie Govan and
Joe Bonamassa.

James uses Ibanez, Gibson and Fender guitars, Orange amps and a large variety of pedals.

Born 1985.
Drums/ Percussion/ Backing Vocals.

Andy is the newest member of the band, having joined Walkway on drums in ealry 2011.

His interest in music began at the age of 9, and by 13 he was gigging regularly around the Ipswich music scene.

At 16, Andy attended ACM in Guildford, and completed a Higher Diploma in Contemporary Music.

Since this he has played many sessions and live gigs with a variety of musicians and bands, including: Chad Smith (RHCP),
Ace (Skunk Anansie) and
Gregg Wright (Michael Jackson).

His influences include:
Travis Barker (Blink 182),
Benny Grebb,
Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan (AX7) and
Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater).

Andy uses DW and Mapex drums, Sabian cymbals, Gibraltar hardware and Tama pedals.
